If you’ve decided you’d like to keep bees, and find getting started a little daunting, we can help.

With 35 years experience keeping bees locally, we have the knowledge of local conditions and solutions to help you succeed.

 

We get you started with the same quality, proven materials and equipment we use in our apiaries.

 

Our aim is to provide you with the necessary, essential equipment to get you started. Simple, standardized solutions sourced predominantly from Australia and New Zealand. We also have experience and can assist you with flow hives and Top Bar/Kenyan hives.

 

Before embarking on your beekeeping venture, we encourage you to do a little research.

 

Whilst beekeeping can be an incredibly rewarding and addictive experience, there are some important issues to consider.

Bees, in spring, emerge from winter hibernation and from this time we’re able to split hives to provide nucleus’ for our customers. These are provided from early spring to January, depending on availability.

 

Our nucleus hives are carefully nurtured, inspected and proven before handover. We have options for support and selected books for sale.
