If you’re seeking integrity in service delivery, quality locally sourced beekeeping materials, local flora knowledge and genuine support in helping you succeed in your beekeeping journey, we are your people.
Beewise has been operating as a small business for almost 30 years.
In 1998 we moved from the foothills to live in our beautiful Kallista Village amongst the Mountain Ash.
Our love for community connection continues. Our focus is local, with a strong desire to be part of a movement toward sustainable local business’.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have established some wonderful relationships & friendships through our work with novice beekeepers, farmers & retailers.
When you choose Beewise training, nucleus hives, materials, honey and pollination, please be assured we do our best to deliver the best. We have gained much experience maintaining migratory apiaries for decades. Our nucleus hives are from our apiaries and housing choices reflect materials we use. We recommend what we have proven to be effective. Our choices are simple, nothing unnecessary, best practice and best available.
We align ourselves with like minded business’ with similar business ethos.
With more than 45 years experience keeping bees we are able to help you with one on one training, seasonal workshops & field days, beekeeping materials, advice and support.
We believe the best learning is gained when inspecting hives. Our field days focus on hive inspections, occasionally rescheduled due to inclement weather. As an alternative to group/field day sessions, we offer site inspections. The benefit of a site visit is an assessment of your hive. The visit doubles as a training session and can involve others if you wish….
To provide the tools for individuals to become competent, confident & successful beekeepers.
